@Ron: This figure might create the best sustainable economy. But how do we simply delete 6800 Million people? Population reversal needs to happen as I believe it is the root of most environmental problems but how one goes about it I cannot comprehend.

The factories that spew out poison smoke and the cars that could be electric have been stopped being manufactured. Do the research and don’t be a lazy bones, BEFORE you put your mouth in gear.
Water is being used at 100 times its replenishment rate. Soil has been used at 100 times its regeneration rate. Oil and coal have been used at 500,000 times their regeneration rate. Pollution is over 1,000 times the Earth’s absorption rate. The world’s oceanic fisheries will be depleted at or before mid-century, and they provide 60% of the protein needs of 3 billion people, and significantly to most of the rest. At the rates of change, the maximum amount of food the Earth can produce will be at the calories for sedentary starvation level for 6 billion by 2050.
Of course, it is variable with area to area, and a level of starvation plus 25% or so is needed to grow and process food. The idiotic ramblings of “infinite Earthers”, will not alter reality or stop the crash with its attendant horrors. Most likely people will refuse to reduce CO2 emissions enough to prevent the temperature rise needed to complete the self-release of methane reaction, followed by thermal maximum and an 87% ELE(circa 2300 to 3500AD) with recovery time of at least 200,000 years.
The horsemen of this are riding. The sins of lust, sloth, and greed have driven this insane over-breeding, stupidity, and mindless growth to destruction of our biosphere for a very long term.
If a small percentage of sustainability minded, strong, intelligent, caring people, can make it through this bottleneck, it will be a miracle. We will not know for some time after we have died, and been given eternal life in Heaven.
